Junko Awatani - Make a Moon

この度dessinにて、Junko Awataniの個展「Make a Moon」を開催いたします。 月が見えないときには、月をつくる 月明かりに照らされる石畳も 夜風に揺れる草むらも 月の満ち欠けを小さな本にした「Moon Book」、ひとつずつ石を敷くように構成する「Paving」や、庭のように半立体的に作る風景画「Sakutei」を展示します。 ● Junko Awatani - Make a Moon 会場：dessin | デッサン 会期：2026年1月16日（金）→ 2月1日（日） 時間：13:00 - 18:00 [火曜日定休] 入場：無料 ● プロフィール: Junko Awatani 1984年生まれ、東京在住。2009年京都工芸繊維大学大学院工芸科学研究科建築設計学専攻を修了後、石上純也や中村竜治などの建築設計事務所、ランドスケープデザイン事務所で働く。2010年代後半より風景や場所に関する作品をつくりはじめる。微かな存在感の集積による能動的な風景画の手法を模索している。 Instagram: @junkoawatani https://junkoawatani.com Junko Awatani Make a Moon dessin Tokyo, Japan January 16 - February 1, 2026 Open: 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM Close: Tuesdays When the moon is not visible, make a moon. Cobblestones illuminated by moonlight, and grass gently swaying in the night breeze. This exhibition presents “Moon Book,” a small book that traces the phases of the moon; “Paving,” works composed as if laying stones one by one; and “Sakutei,” landscape paintings constructed in a semi-three-dimensional manner, like gardens. ● Junko Awatani Born in 1984, based in Tokyo. After completing her master’s degree in Architectural Design at Kyoto Institute of Technology in 2009, she worked at architectural and landscape design studios, including Junya Ishigami and Ryuji Nakamura. In the late 2010s, she began creating works exploring landscape and place. Her practice explores an active approach to landscape painting through the accumulation of subtle presences.
